Fireplace

Well the work goes on and yet there is still so much to do. This week has seen our share of painting, scraping and cleaning. So much cleaning. Not to talk crap about the previous owners, but how did people live like this?

We have had a wonderful week using the pool and meeting new neighbors. We have learned a lot about our neighborhood and couldn't be happier. It is definitely the family friendly neighborhood we were hoping for.

So you want to see some pics of the progress, right? Unfortunately there isn't much to show. But I'll give you an update on the Fireplace.

Remember this beast?

This is the fireplace with a nice coat of primer. The paint is coming soon, but might need to hold off as we get other things in order.

Unfortunately I don't have pics from the wallpaper scraping in Juniper and Sullivan's room. It was not fun. So much so, that no pictures got taken. We will paint that soon and I will update with new photos. Have no fear.

I will leave you with some pics of our pool time and a promise for future progress updates.

What a beautiful weekend! I blame the sun for the lack of work being accomplished.
